Does paying the deposit confirm my fishing trip?
No. The 10% PayPal deposit submits a trip request; it does not confirm availability. The owner then checks the schedule and contacts you to confirm the boat, date and departure time. If the requested slot cannot be accommodated, the crew will discuss alternatives with you.
What is included in the fishing trip?
The charter includes the boat and crew, rods, reels, tackle, bait and drinks. Four-hour trips include seasonal fruit and snacks. Trips of six hours or longer also include sandwiches. Check the chosen boat’s package page for specific details.
Can I go fishing while visiting Amber Cove or Taino Bay on a cruise?
You can request a private charter during a cruise visit to Puerto Plata. Provide the port, ship name and scheduled arrival, and tell the crew your all-aboard deadline. The crew must confirm pickup and a trip that fits your time ashore; return timing should not be assumed before confirmation.
Is hotel or cruise-port pickup included?
Pickup must be coordinated with the crew. Availability and any charge depend on your location and distance from Ocean World Marina. Enter your hotel, residence or cruise port in the request so the team can confirm the arrangements.
Is a particular catch guaranteed?
No. Fish species and catches depend on the season, weather, sea conditions and the day’s fishing. The captain chooses the route and techniques with safety and conditions in mind.
