High Z’s Fishing Tours was founded in early 2006 to offer fishing tours to visitors and locals in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, with a commitment to excellent service and fishing on the North Coast.

Meet our captains, Nelson Herrera and Elías, both integral members of the High Z’s Fishing Tours team.

Captain Nelson Herrera has more than 36 years of experience in commercial and sport fishing. He holds a variety of certifications and has completed technical courses. He is also a multiple winner of national and international fishing tournaments.
