Arriving in Puerto Plata by cruise ship? High Z’s Fishing Tours welcomes cruise guests. Departure times can be coordinated around your ship’s visit, subject to boat availability. Round-trip transportation to Amber Cove and Taino Bay cruise terminals is included. We confirm the meeting point, return and departure time with you before you pay a deposit.
How to plan your excursion
- Share your ship schedule. Tell us your ship name, arrival date, port or terminal, arrival time and all-aboard time.
- Confirm the details. We’ll review availability, trip length, pickup and return point, travel time, group size and total price with you.
- Book your trip. For 4-, 6- and 8-hour trips, review the published booking options. For a 5-hour charter, contact us to arrange the trip and payment details.
Flexible departure
Tell us when your ship arrives. We’ll confirm an available start time that fits your time in port.
Pickup and return
Round-trip transportation to Amber Cove, Taino Bay, your hotel or residence is included. Share your terminal or address so we can confirm the meeting point and return time.
Private fishing
Your boat is reserved for your group. Cruise guests usually choose 4, 5 or 6 hours; 8 hours may work for longer port calls.

Most cruise guests choose 4, 5 or 6 hours. Full-day (8-hour) service is also available when your ship schedule allows. Prices are per private boat and include up to 5 guests.

What is included?
All charters include round-trip transportation to your port (including Amber Cove and Taino Bay), hotel or residence, plus soda, beer, water, fruit and snacks. Six- and eight-hour charters also include sandwiches. Confirm your exact pickup point and time with our team before booking.
What should you send us?
Ship name, arrival date, port or terminal, arrival time, all-aboard deadline, number of guests and your preferred trip. If the ship schedule changes, contact the team as soon as possible so availability and terms can be reviewed.
